Children are welcome in our garden. Their visit is enriched by animals complementing the botanical exhibits and interactive elements in the outdoor exhibition. Together, you can find a dinosaur skeleton in the greenhouse or a giant flower of the parasitic rafflesia. You can reward your little ones in the Botanist’s Café.
The entire botanical garden is located on flat terrain, and the visit should not be difficult. More detailed information on how to reach the garden can be found on a dedicated page. There are plenty of benches for resting in both the outdoor and greenhouse exhibitions. Please move carefully on stepping stones and paths in the greenhouse—they may be wet and slippery.

Our botanical garden is accessible to everyone. There is one designated parking space for disabled visitors (ZTP, ZTP/P) in front of the garden. Most paths are barrier-free, except for stepping-stone paths in the outdoor exhibition. Wheelchair users are also not recommended to enter the footbridge due to its steep incline. Dogs are allowed (fee 100 CZK), but must be on a leash and owners must carry waste bags. Dogs are not allowed in the greenhouse. Drinking stations with water bowls are available for dogs and are cleaned daily.

You can pay not only in cash but also by card at all locations. Pay conveniently and securely. We do not accept foreign currency or benefit cards.

Toilets are located in two places: in the foyer of the Tropicana greenhouse and in the outdoor exhibition next to the Botanist’s Café. Toilets are accessible for people with disabilities. Please follow the signage in the garden or the map, which you receive free of charge at the ticket office or in the greenhouse entrance hall.
Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the entire area. Scan the QR codes displayed on the information panels with your smart device and you will learn more about the mysterious world of plants.

You can store backpacks, handbags or jackets in lockers located in the entrance hall of the Tropicana greenhouse. The lockers are subject to a fee (20 CZK for a smaller box, 30 CZK for a larger box + a refundable deposit of 100 CZK for the keys). Your comfort during your visit to the garden is our priority. We would like to inform visitors that temperatures vary (especially during the winter months) in different parts of the greenhouse.
Take something home from the botanical garden as a souvenir. You can calmly choose and purchase souvenirs in the foyer of the Tropicana greenhouse.

A first aid kit is located in the entrance hall of the Tropicana greenhouse. We would like to inform you that we cultivate a number of poisonous plants, therefore please do not touch them. In case of ingestion, call 155 and, if necessary, the Toxicological Information Centre (+420 224 919 293 or +420 224 915 402).
