There is a bus stop called Botanická zahrada located directly at the entrance to the botanical garden, served by bus line no. 110 of Teplice public transport. The current timetable can be found at this link. The bus stops both at Beneš Square and at the Main Railway Station. You can find the connection from your stop here.
Other bus and trolleybus lines serve the stops Nové Lázně and Šanov I Lázně, from where the botanical garden can be reached on foot.
There is a small parking lot for 7 cars at the botanical garden, including one space reserved for people with reduced mobility. A parking permit is required to park here, which can be obtained at the botanical garden ticket office. You will need to provide your vehicle’s license plate number. Parking is free of charge. If the parking lot is full, you can park along Josefa Suka, Novákova, or Ševčíkova streets where permitted by traffic regulations (free parking). Larger parking areas are located in Pod Doubravkou Street (Pod Doubravkou car park, Fráni Šrámka car park) and U Panoramy Street (U Panoramy car park). All parking is free. Please note that there are no electric vehicle charging stations available.
If you are arriving by bus from Prague, it is best to get off at the Pražská stop and walk up through the forest path to the botanical garden (785 m – approx. 16 minutes).
If you arrive at the main railway station, follow Vrchlického Street via Zeyer Square and Svatopluka Čecha Street to Pod Doubravkou Street, then turn into Josefa Suka Street (slightly uphill, 1.7 km – approx. 30 minutes).
From the spa area (from Beethoven), you can reach us via Mlýnská Street and U Hadích lázní Street (1.6 km – approx. 30 minutes).
You can reach the botanical garden by bicycle or scooter. Riding them inside the premises is not allowed. You can leave them in the rack near the greenhouse entrance. Although the area is monitored by cameras, we recommend locking your bicycle or scooter and not leaving valuables nearby. Please note that there are no charging facilities for e-bikes or e-scooters.
During the tourist season from April to October, you can use the tourist train Humboldt, operated by VisitTeplice. Since 2026, it no longer runs at fixed times; individual rides are listed in the news section on the VisitTeplice website.
Standard tour buses cannot access the botanical garden directly due to the width of the road. Passengers can be dropped off in Pod Doubravkou Street and walk the remaining distance (approx. 5 minutes). Smaller Teplice public transport buses can reach the botanical garden directly.
